Queen Margaret
Queen Margaret, also known as Margaret of Anjou, was the queen consort of Henry VI of England. Born in 1430 in France, she married Henry in 1445. Margaret played a significant role in the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne.
Margaret was known for her strong will and political acumen. After her husband's mental health declined, she took charge of the Lancastrian cause, leading troops into battle. Her efforts were marked by both successes and defeats, ultimately leading to her exile in 1471 after the fall of the Lancastrian dynasty.
