Quarantine Procedures
Quarantine procedures are measures taken to isolate individuals or groups who may have been exposed to a contagious disease, such as COVID-19. This helps prevent the spread of the illness to others. During quarantine, individuals are typically required to stay at home or in a designated facility for a specific period, often 14 days, to monitor for symptoms.
During this time, individuals should avoid contact with others and follow health guidelines, such as wearing masks and practicing good hygiene. If symptoms develop, they may need to undergo testing and follow additional health protocols to ensure safety for themselves and the community.
