Quaid-i-Azam
Quaid-i-Azam, meaning "Great Leader," is the title given to Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Born on December 25, 1876, in Karachi, he played a crucial role in the country's struggle for independence from British rule. Jinnah was a lawyer and politician who advocated for the rights of Muslims in India, leading to the creation of Pakistan in 1947.
As the first Governor-General of Pakistan, Jinnah worked to establish the new nation and its government. He emphasized unity, faith, and discipline as guiding principles for the country. Jinnah passed away on September 11, 1948, but remains a revered figure in Pakistan's history.
