Pythonidae
Pythonidae, commonly known as pythons, are a family of non-venomous snakes found primarily in Africa, Asia, and Australia. They are known for their large size, with some species, like the reticulated python, being among the longest snakes in the world. Pythons are constrictors, meaning they subdue their prey by wrapping around it and suffocating it before consumption.
These snakes are typically solitary and can be found in a variety of habitats, including forests, grasslands, and swamps. Pythons are also known for their ability to adapt to different environments. They are oviparous, laying eggs that the female incubates by coiling around them to maintain warmth.
