The Pyramids Of Giza are a group of three monumental tombs located on the Giza Plateau, near Cairo, Egypt. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, they are among the most iconic symbols of ancient Egyptian civilization and are the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.
The largest of the three, the Great Pyramid, was constructed for the Pharaoh Khufu and originally stood at 146.6 meters. These pyramids served as elaborate burial sites, reflecting the Egyptians' beliefs in the afterlife and their architectural prowess, attracting millions of visitors each year.
