Puyi
Puyi was the last Emperor of China, born on February 7, 1906. He ascended to the throne at just two years old, ruling during the Qing Dynasty. His reign ended in 1912 when the dynasty was overthrown, leading to the establishment of the Republic of China. Puyi's life was marked by political turmoil and personal struggles as he navigated a rapidly changing country.
After his abdication, Puyi lived in various roles, including a puppet emperor under the Japanese occupation of Manchukuo during the 1930s. Following World War II, he was captured by the Soviet Union and later returned to China, where he was imprisoned and re-educated. He eventually became a citizen and lived a quiet life until his death in 1967.
