Puerto Rico House of Representatives
The Puerto Rico House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico. It consists of 51 members who are elected to serve four-year terms. The House is responsible for proposing and voting on laws, as well as overseeing the budget and government operations.
Members of the House represent various districts across the island, ensuring that the voices of their constituents are heard. The House works alongside the Puerto Rico Senate, which is the upper chamber, to create and amend legislation that affects the people of Puerto Rico.
