Puerto Rico Senate
The Puerto Rico Senate is the upper chamber of the Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico, responsible for creating and approving laws for the territory. It consists of 27 members who are elected for four-year terms. Senators represent various districts and are tasked with addressing issues that affect the people of Puerto Rico.
The Senate works alongside the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico, which is the lower chamber. Together, they debate and vote on legislation, budget proposals, and other important matters. The Senate also plays a role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of Puerto Rico.
