Provinces of Spain
Spain is divided into 17 autonomous communities and two autonomous cities, each containing provinces. In total, there are 50 provinces, which serve as administrative divisions. Each province has its own local government and is responsible for certain public services, such as education and transportation.
The provinces vary in size, population, and culture, reflecting the diverse history of Spain. Notable provinces include Barcelona in Catalonia, known for its architecture, and Sevilla in Andalusia, famous for its flamenco music. Each province contributes to the rich tapestry of Spanish identity and heritage.
