Private Pilots
A private pilot is an individual who has obtained a license to fly small aircraft for personal use. They can operate single-engine planes and are trained to navigate, communicate with air traffic control, and ensure safety during flights. Private pilots cannot be compensated for their flying services, but they can share costs with passengers.
To become a private pilot, one must complete ground school and flight training, pass a medical exam, and successfully complete a written and practical test. This certification allows them to fly under visual flight rules (VFR), which means they can fly in good weather conditions and navigate using visual references.
