Prinz Eugen
Prinz Eugen was a German heavy cruiser built during World War II. Launched in 1938, it was named after the famous Austrian general Eugen of Savoy. The ship was designed for speed and firepower, featuring advanced technology for its time, including radar and powerful artillery.
Throughout the war, Prinz Eugen participated in several significant naval operations, including the Battle of Denmark Strait alongside the battleship Bismarck. After the war, the cruiser was surrendered to the Allies and later used for atomic bomb tests in the Pacific before being sunk in 1946.
