Princess Sophia of Nassau
Princess Sophia of Nassau was born on July 14, 1836, in Nassau, Germany. She was the daughter of Adolphus, Duke of Nassau and Princess Adelheid of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. Sophia became known for her beauty and grace, and she was part of the European royal circles of her time.
In 1857, she married Prince Wilhelm of Prussia, who later became Emperor Wilhelm I of Germany. Together, they had several children, contributing to the lineage of European royalty. Princess Sophia passed away on May 23, 1913, leaving behind a legacy intertwined with the history of Germany and Prussia.
