Princess Marie of Baden
Princess Marie of Baden was born on July 9, 1865, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was a member of the House of Zähringen and the daughter of Prince Wilhelm of Baden and Princess Maria of Hohenzollern. Marie became known for her beauty and grace, and she was well-educated in the arts and languages.
In 1889, she married Prince Maximilian of Baden, who later became the last Chancellor of Germany. Together, they had five children. Marie was involved in various charitable activities and supported her husband's political career, playing a significant role in the social life of the German nobility during her time.
