Princess Maria Teresa of Orléans
Princess Maria Teresa of Orléans was born on July 28, 1857, in Paris, France. She was a member of the House of Orléans, a branch of the French royal family. Maria Teresa was the daughter of Prince Philippe, Count of Paris and Princess Marie Isabelle of Orléans.
In 1883, she married Prince Ferdinand of Bourbon, who later became King Ferdinand II of Portugal. Maria Teresa became Queen consort of Portugal and was known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes. She passed away on September 12, 1919, in Lisbon, Portugal.
