Prince Philippe, Count of Paris
Prince Philippe, Count of Paris is a French nobleman born on August 24, 1838. He was the head of the House of Orléans, a branch of the French royal family. Philippe was a descendant of King Louis-Philippe I, who ruled France from 1830 to 1848. After the fall of the monarchy, he lived in exile in England and later returned to France.
Philippe was involved in various political movements advocating for a constitutional monarchy in France. He passed away on September 8, 1894, and was succeeded by his son, Prince Jean, Duke of Guise, who continued the Orléanist legacy.
