Princess Feodora of Leiningen
Princess Feodora of Leiningen was born on December 12, 1807, in Germany. She was the daughter of Emich Carl, 2nd Prince of Leiningen and Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. Feodora is best known for being the half-sister of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, as their mother, Princess Victoria, was married to Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.
Feodora married Ernest I, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1828, becoming the Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Throughout her life, she maintained a close relationship with her royal family, particularly with her half-sister, Queen Victoria, and was involved in various charitable activities. Feodora passed away on September 24, 1872.
