Princess Anne of Romania was born on September 18, 1923, in Paris, France. She was the daughter of King Michael I of Romania and Queen Anne of Romania. Throughout her life, she was known for her dedication to charitable work and her support of various cultural initiatives in Romania. In 1947, Princess Anne married Prince Radu of Romania, and together they had three daughters. After the fall of communism in Romania, she played a significant role in the royal family's return to the country and worked to promote Romania's cultural heritage. Princess Anne passed away on August 1, 2016.
