Queen Anne of Romania
Queen Anne of Romania was born on September 18, 1923, in Paris, France. She was the daughter of Prince Michael of Romania and Princess Helen of Greece and Denmark. Anne became the wife of King Michael I of Romania in 1948, and they had five daughters together.
Throughout her life, Queen Anne was known for her charitable work and dedication to various social causes. After the fall of communism in Romania, she and her family returned to the country, where she continued to support initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Romanians. She passed away on August 1, 2016.
