Princess Anna of Anhalt
Princess Anna of Anhalt (1544–1574) was a member of the {House of Ascania} and the daughter of {Prince Joachim Ernest of Anhalt}. She was known for her role in the {Anhalt} principality during the {Reformation} period, which significantly influenced the religious landscape of Europe.
In 1560, Anna married {Count John VI of Nassau-Dillenburg}, strengthening political alliances in the region. Her marriage contributed to the connections between the {Anhalt} and {Nassau} families, which played a role in the governance and cultural development of their territories during the late 16th century.
