Princess Alice of Battenberg
Princess Alice of Battenberg was born on April 25, 1885, in Wiesbaden, Germany. She was a member of the British royal family, being the second daughter of Prince Louis of Battenberg and Princess Victoria of Hesse. Alice married Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark in 1903 and had five children, including Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who later married Queen Elizabeth II.
Alice was known for her charitable work and dedication to her family. During World War I, she supported various humanitarian efforts and worked with the Red Cross. She passed away on December 5, 1969, in London, England, leaving a legacy of compassion and service.
