Princess Alexandrine of Baden
Princess Alexandrine of Baden was born on December 1, 1879, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was a member of the House of Baden and the daughter of Grand Duke Friedrich I of Baden and Princess Hilda of Nassau. Alexandrine became known for her charitable work and involvement in social causes throughout her life.
In 1900, she married Prince Ernst August of Hanover, which connected her to the House of Hanover. The couple had three children and lived in Germany and England. Alexandrine's life was marked by her dedication to family and her contributions to society until her passing on August 20, 1952.
