Prince Paul of Yugoslavia
Prince Paul of Yugoslavia was born on December 27, 1893, in the Kingdom of Serbia. He was a member of the House of Karađorđević and served as the regent for his cousin, King Peter II, from 1934 until 1941. His regency was marked by political instability and the challenges of rising nationalism in the region.
During World War II, Prince Paul faced significant pressure from both Axis powers and the Allies. In 1941, he was forced to resign and went into exile. He lived in various countries, including the United States and France, until his death on September 14, 1976.
