Prince Luís Filipe
Prince Luís Filipe was born on March 21, 1887, in Lisbon, Portugal. He was the eldest son of King Carlos I and Queen Amélia of Orléans. As the heir to the Portuguese throne, he held the title of Prince of Portugal and was expected to play a significant role in the monarchy.
Tragically, Luís Filipe's life was cut short when he was assassinated on February 1, 1908, during a political upheaval in Portugal. His death, along with that of his father, led to a crisis in the monarchy, ultimately contributing to the establishment of the Portuguese Republic in 1910.
