Prince Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans
Prince Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1838-1894), was a member of the French royal family and a prominent figure during the 19th century. He was the son of Louis-Philippe I, the King of the French, who ruled from 1830 to 1848. Louis-Philippe was known for his liberal views and support for constitutional monarchy.
After the fall of his father's regime, Louis-Philippe lived in exile for many years. He became involved in various political movements and was a key figure in the Orléanist branch of the French royal family, which sought to restore the monarchy in France.
