Prince Henry of Battenberg
Prince Henry of Battenberg was a British royal born on February 5, 1858, in Battenberg, Germany. He was the son of Prince Alexander of Battenberg and Countess Julia von Hauke. Henry served in the British Army and held the rank of major. He was known for his dedication to military service and his involvement in various charitable organizations.
In 1885, Henry married Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom, the youngest daughter of Queen Victoria. The couple had three children together. Prince Henry passed away on January 20, 1896, due to malaria, leaving behind a legacy tied to both the British royal family and the Battenberg lineage.
