Prince Henri, Duke of Nemours
Prince Henri, Duke of Nemours, was a French nobleman born on March 15, 1817. He was the son of Louis-Philippe I, the King of the French, and Marie-Amélie of Bourbon. Henri served in the French army and was known for his military career, particularly during the Crimean War.
Henri was also involved in politics and was a prominent figure in the royalist movement. He was a candidate for the throne during the turbulent times of the French Second Republic and the subsequent Second Empire. He passed away on June 13, 1883, in Paris, France.
