Prince Friedrich of Schleswig was a member of the Danish royal family, born on July 1, 1820. He was the son of King Frederick VI of Denmark and Queen Marie of Denmark. Friedrich played a significant role in the political landscape of the time, particularly concerning the issues surrounding the duchies of Schleswig and Holstein. Friedrich became known for his efforts to promote the interests of the German population in Schleswig and Holstein.
