Prince Ernst I of Hohenlohe-Langenburg
Prince Ernst I of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1794-1860) was a German nobleman and a member of the House of Hohenlohe. He served as the ruler of the principality of Hohenlohe-Langenburg from 1818 until his death. Ernst I was known for his efforts in modernizing the region and promoting economic development.
He was also notable for his connections to various European royal families, including his marriage to Princess Feodora of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, who was a half-sister of Queen Victoria. This alliance strengthened ties between the Hohenlohe family and the British monarchy, influencing European politics during the 19th century.
