Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a collective head of state, consisting of three members. Each member represents one of the three main ethnic groups: Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs. They serve a four-year term, with the presidency rotating among the members every eight months.
The presidency is responsible for foreign policy and representing the country internationally. Decisions are made collectively, requiring consensus among the members. This structure reflects the country's complex political landscape, established by the Dayton Agreement in 1995, which aimed to maintain peace and stability after the Bosnian War.
