Power Sources
Power sources are the means by which energy is generated to perform work or provide electricity. They can be classified into two main categories: renewable and non-renewable. Renewable sources, such as solar energy, wind energy, and hydropower, are naturally replenished and have a lower environmental impact. Non-renewable sources, like coal, natural gas, and nuclear energy, are finite and can contribute to pollution and climate change.
Each power source has its advantages and disadvantages. For instance, solar panels can provide clean energy but depend on sunlight availability, while natural gas is efficient but emits greenhouse gases. Understanding these differences helps in making informed decisions about energy use and sustainability.
