Poplar Trees
Poplar trees are fast-growing deciduous trees belonging to the genus Populus. They are commonly found in temperate regions and are known for their tall, straight trunks and broad leaves. Poplars can grow up to 100 feet tall and are often used for timber, paper production, and as shade trees in landscaping.
These trees thrive in a variety of soil types and prefer moist conditions. They are also known for their ability to absorb large amounts of water, making them useful for controlling soil erosion. Some common species include the Eastern Cottonwood and the Balm of Gilead.
