Pope I
Pope I, also known as Pope Peter, is recognized as the first pope of the Roman Catholic Church. His papacy is believed to have begun around 30 AD, shortly after the death of Jesus Christ. Although historical records about his life and reign are scarce, he is traditionally credited with establishing the foundations of the papacy.
