The Pollux System is a binary star system located approximately 33.7 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Gemini. It consists of two stars: Pollux, a bright orange giant star, and a smaller companion star that is less well-known. Pollux is notable for being one of the brightest stars in the night sky.
In addition to its stars, the Pollux System is known to host at least one confirmed exoplanet, designated Pollux b. This planet is a gas giant, similar in characteristics to Jupiter, and orbits Pollux at a distance that places it within the star's habitable zone.
