Polish Football
Polish football, known as piłka nożna in Polish, is a popular sport in Poland. The country has a rich football history, with the national team, known as the Biało-Czerwoni (White and Reds), achieving notable success, including a third-place finish in the 1974 and 1982 FIFA World Cups. The domestic league, Ekstraklasa, features several competitive clubs, with Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznań being among the most successful.
The Polish Football Association, or PZPN, governs the sport in the country and organizes various competitions, including the national cup, Puchar Polski. Grassroots football is also encouraged, with many youth academies developing future talent. The sport continues to grow in popularity, attracting fans and players alike.
