piłka nożna
Piłka nożna, known as soccer in many countries, is a popular team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team's net. Players primarily use their feet to control and pass the ball, but goalkeepers can use their hands within the penalty area.
The game is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. Matches typically last 90 minutes, divided into two halves. FIFA, the sport's governing body, organizes international competitions, including the FIFA World Cup.
