Pico de Teide
Pico de Teide is the highest peak in Spain, standing at 3,718 meters (12,198 feet) above sea level. Located on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, it is a dormant volcano and a prominent feature of Teide National Park. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its unique landscapes and diverse flora and fauna.
The volcano last erupted in 1909 and is considered one of the most important geological sites in the world. Visitors can access the summit via a cable car, offering stunning views of the surrounding islands and the Atlantic Ocean.
