Pico De Orizaba
Pico de Orizaba is the highest mountain in Mexico and the third highest in North America, standing at 5,636 meters (18,491 feet) above sea level. It is a stratovolcano located on the border between the states of Puebla and Veracruz. The mountain is also known as Citlaltépetl in the Nahuatl language, which means "star mountain."
The last known eruption of Pico de Orizaba occurred in 1687, making it a dormant volcano today. Its snow-capped peak is a popular destination for climbers and hikers, offering stunning views and diverse ecosystems, including forests and alpine tundra.
