Pickpocket
A pickpocket is a person who stealthily steals items, typically wallets or phones, from the pockets or bags of unsuspecting individuals. This crime often occurs in crowded places, such as markets, public transportation, or tourist attractions, where distractions can make it easier for the thief to operate without being noticed.
Pickpocketing requires skill and practice, as the thief must be able to quickly and quietly remove items without alerting the victim. Many pickpockets work in groups, using tactics like distraction or crowd manipulation to create opportunities for theft.
