Pichincha Volcano
Pichincha Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in Ecuador, near the capital city of Quito. It has two main summits: Rucu Pichincha, which stands at 4,784 meters, and Guagua Pichincha, reaching 4,658 meters. The volcano is part of the Andes mountain range and is known for its frequent eruptions, with the most recent significant activity occurring in 1999.
