Phoenix Mars Lander
The Phoenix Mars Lander was a robotic spacecraft designed to explore the surface of Mars. Launched in August 2007, it landed in the northern polar region of the planet in May 2008. Its primary mission was to search for water and study the Martian climate and geology.
Equipped with a suite of scientific instruments, the Phoenix conducted experiments to analyze soil samples and measure temperature and humidity. The lander confirmed the presence of water ice beneath the Martian surface, providing valuable insights into the planet's potential for supporting life and its environmental history.
