Philip the Apostle
Philip the Apostle was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ. He is often recognized for his role in spreading the teachings of Jesus and is mentioned in the New Testament, particularly in the Gospels of John and Matthew. Philip is known for bringing Nathanael to Jesus and for asking Jesus to show the disciples the Father.
Traditionally, Philip is believed to have preached in various regions, including Greece and Asia Minor. He is often associated with the early Christian church and is considered a martyr, with various accounts of his death suggesting he was crucified or stoned. His feast day is celebrated on May 3rd.
