Pfalz D.III
The Pfalz D.III was a German fighter aircraft used during World War I. Introduced in 1917, it was designed to compete with other fighters like the Fokker Dr.I. The D.III featured a distinctive rounded fuselage and was powered by a Mercedes D.III engine, allowing it to reach speeds of around 185 km/h (115 mph).
This aircraft was known for its excellent maneuverability and climbing ability, making it effective in dogfights. The Pfalz D.III was primarily used by the Luftstreitkräfte, the air service of the German Empire, and saw action until the war's end in 1918.
