Petit Trianon
The Petit Trianon is a small chateau located in the grounds of the Palace of Versailles in France. Built between 1762 and 1768 for Queen Marie Antoinette, it served as her private retreat away from the formalities of court life. The architecture reflects the neoclassical style, featuring elegant rooms and beautiful gardens.
Surrounded by lush landscapes, the Petit Trianon includes a charming English garden and a picturesque hamlet, known as the Hameau de la Reine. This area was designed to resemble a rustic village, allowing the queen to escape into a simpler, pastoral lifestyle.
