Peter Pellegrini
Peter Pellegrini is a Slovak politician who served as the Prime Minister of Slovakia from March 2018 to March 2020. He is a member of the Direction – Social Democracy party and has held various positions in the Slovak government, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education. Pellegrini became Prime Minister following the resignation of Robert Fico amid public protests.
Born on October 6, 1975, in Banská Bystrica, Pellegrini studied at the Comenius University in Bratislava. He began his political career in local government before rising to national prominence. Pellegrini is known for his focus on social issues and economic development during his time in office.
