Peruvian Education
Peruvian education is structured into several levels, including preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education. The Ministry of Education oversees the system, which aims to provide access to quality education for all children. Primary education is compulsory and lasts for six years, followed by five years of secondary education.
Higher education in Peru includes universities and technical institutes, offering various programs. While public institutions are prevalent, private universities have also gained popularity. Challenges such as disparities in access and quality remain, particularly in rural areas, but efforts are ongoing to improve the overall educational landscape.
