Pecan Trees
Pecan trees are large deciduous trees native to the southern United States and northern Mexico. They can grow up to 100 feet tall and have a lifespan of over 300 years. The trees produce pecans, which are a type of nut that is rich in healthy fats, protein, and various vitamins and minerals.
These trees thrive in well-drained soil and require a warm climate to grow successfully. They typically start producing nuts around 4 to 6 years of age, with peak production occurring between 10 to 20 years. Pecan trees are also valued for their shade and ornamental beauty.
