Paul Touvier
Paul Touvier was a French collaborator during World War II, known for his role in the Nazi regime's activities in France. He was a member of the Milice, a paramilitary group that supported the German occupation. Touvier was involved in the persecution of Jews and other resistance members, leading to numerous atrocities.
After the war, Touvier went into hiding to avoid prosecution for his crimes. He was eventually arrested in 1989 and tried for his actions during the war. In 1994, he was convicted of crimes against humanity, making him one of the few collaborators to face justice for his wartime actions.
