Paul Reynaud
Paul Reynaud was a French politician and lawyer, born on March 15, 1878. He served as the Prime Minister of France during a critical period in World War II, from March to June 1940. Reynaud was known for his strong opposition to Nazi Germany and advocated for a robust military response against the German invasion.
During his tenure, Reynaud faced significant challenges, including political divisions and military setbacks. He ultimately resigned in June 1940, shortly before France's surrender to Germany. After the war, he continued to be involved in politics and was a member of the French National Assembly. Reynaud passed away on September 21, 1966.
