Paul Bremer
Paul Bremer is an American diplomat and businessman best known for his role as the Administrator of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq from 2003 to 2004. Appointed by President George W. Bush, he was responsible for overseeing the reconstruction of Iraq following the U.S. invasion. Bremer implemented significant policies, including the disbandment of the Iraqi military and the de-Ba'athification of the government.
Before his time in Iraq, Bremer held various positions in the U.S. government, including serving as the U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism. He has also worked in the private sector and has been involved in various advisory roles related to international security and governance.
