Partido Comunista de Cuba
The Partido Comunista de Cuba (PCC) is the ruling political party in Cuba. Founded in 1965, it emerged from earlier communist organizations and has maintained a one-party system since the Cuban Revolution in 1959. The PCC is guided by Marxist-Leninist principles and aims to build a socialist society in Cuba.
The party plays a central role in the governance of the country, controlling all aspects of political life. Its leadership is closely associated with key figures like Fidel Castro and Raúl Castro, who were instrumental in the revolution. The PCC organizes national events and promotes its policies through various state-controlled media.
